Let’s plan
your Leuser.
Tell us your dates, group and the kind of forest experience you want. Our team will confirm a suitable route, the arrangements and your final quotation.

Let’s make it feel possible.
Curious, but unsure about the walking or sleeping outdoors? Start by telling us what excites you and what worries you. We can talk through both.
Ask Noval and the planning team ↗Do I need previous trekking experience?
Previous experience is not required for every route. Forest trails are still steep, uneven and often slippery, with heat and humidity. Tell us about your normal activity level and any mobility concerns so we can advise you individually.
How far and how long will we walk?
There is no single daily distance that suits every group. Before booking, agree on your preferred walking hours, pace, breaks and level of challenge with us. Rain, trail conditions and wildlife stops can change the day.
What does a night in camp actually feel like?
Expect a tent or tarp, a thin mattress, a mosquito net and simple washing facilities. This is outdoor camping. Tell us about back problems, sleep concerns or comfort needs before choosing an overnight trek.
What if I need to slow down, or it rains?
Tell your guide early if you are tired or uncomfortable. Guides can adjust the pace and stops; changing the route or returning early depends on your location and conditions. River tubing operates only when it is safe.
Which journey feels like yours?
Select your time, experience and camping preference above.
Which trek should I choose?
A three-hour or one-day walk is a shorter introduction. Overnight treks add camping and more time in the forest. Share your fitness, mobility needs and preferred walking hours so we can advise you.
Can I join as a solo traveler?
Yes. Ask us whether a suitable group is available for your dates. A private solo trek is priced for two paying guests; group availability must be confirmed.
What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes with grip, light trekking clothes, a rain jacket, a refillable water bottle, insect repellent and a small backpack. Bring a torch and dry clothes for overnight treks. We will send a packing checklist with your booking.
Will I definitely see orangutans?
No wildlife sighting can be guaranteed. Guides look for wildlife along the trail, but animals move freely and conditions vary each day.
How comfortable is jungle camping?
Camping is simple and outdoors. Expect a tent or tarp shelter, a camping mattress, mosquito net and basic washing facilities. Please discuss any back problems or specific comfort needs with us beforehand.
Can you arrange transport or a place to stay?
Yes, ask our team about airport transfers and accommodation before or after your trek. These are quoted separately from the trekking package.
What happens if the river or weather is unsafe?
Your guide may adjust the route, camp or return plan. Tube rafting operates only when river conditions allow it. Safety takes priority over the planned itinerary.
