Three days.
A deeper Leuser.
Give the forest your time. Explore with local guides, spend two nights in simple jungle camps, and shape the walking pace around your group.
Design my journey ↗A considered adventure.
Our premium direction begins with personal planning: choosing the right trek length, understanding your walking expectations and arranging the details before you arrive. Tell us whether you want longer trail days, more time observing the canopy, or a gentler rhythm with your travel companions.
The forest remains wild and camping remains simple. This is a supported rainforest adventure with a clear plan, rather than hotel-style comfort in the jungle. Private guiding, transfers and a lodge stay can be discussed and priced as part of your individual proposal.
Who this journey suits
Travelers who want several days away from the village and are comfortable with uneven trails, tropical humidity and basic camping. Families, solo travelers and guests with mobility or comfort needs should discuss their requirements before choosing.
Your journey, day by day
Day 1 · Into the rainforest
Meet your guide, discuss the route and walking pace, and begin your forest journey. Pause to observe wildlife and plants before reaching your first camp. Meals are provided during your trek.
Day 2 · Settle into the forest rhythm
Continue on trails chosen by your guide for the group and conditions. Share your preferred hiking hours in advance; wildlife observation and terrain affect progress. Spend a second night in camp.
Day 3 · Return to Bukit Lawang
Enjoy your final morning in the forest and return by a safe route. Tubing is used only when weather and river conditions allow. Discuss onward travel timing before booking.
An outline, not a fixed route or a promise of specific wildlife, waterfalls or daily hiking distances.

Travel with respect for Leuser.
Gunung Leuser National Park is one of the three national parks within UNESCO’s Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra. We approach each trek as a visit to wildlife habitat. Encounters depend on the animals and conditions; no sighting is guaranteed.
